Fidelity Ups Bitcoin Holdings While Stake Drops at Grayscale
As of June 13, there have been notable shifts in the US holdings of Bitcoin ETFs, according to data obtained from Lookonchain. Fidelity has added 743 Bitcoin to its portfolio, which is now estimated to be worth $50 million. Their total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 174,349, with an estimated value of $11.74 billion.
Conversely, Grayscale has dropped 1,807, or $121.62 million, from its Bitcoin holdings. Grayscale still owns a sizable portion of Bitcoin despite this decrease; it currently has 282,159 coins, which are worth over $19 billion. A total of nine Bitcoin ETFs have decreased their holdings by 316 Bitcoins, or roughly $21.25 million, in addition to these specific adjustments. These changes in ownership reflect the volatility of the Bitcoin market as well as the differing approaches taken by the main participants in the cryptocurrency field.
