Despite the market decline, institutional investors are buying more bitcoin.

FalconX, an institutional digital asset trader, reportedly told Odaily on X that institutions are buying at reduced prices by taking advantage of the recent market dip. As of right now, FalconX has seen that almost every investor, including retail aggregators (72%), hedge funds (63%), venture funds (61%), and proprietary trading departments (57% of total buy-side flow), is a net buyer. After falling below 50% the previous week, the buy/sell ratio is presently higher than 50%.

Furthermore, the combined trading volume of Bitcoin and Ethereum is more than twice that of altcoins, with Bitcoin having a trading volume 2.8 times that of Ethereum.
