Crypto Scam Alert: Man loses $71 Million in WBTC to a Scammer!
An anonymous user lost WBTCs valued around $71 million today to a fraudster. A few hours ago, a man opened a new wallet and transferred 0.05 ETH to his new address. However, a scammer created an address with similar initials and endings and sent 0 ETH to him, which displayed in his transaction history. While moving funds from his old wallet to the new one, the user mistakenly sent WBTC to the scammer’s wallet.
