Roblox Makes $3.5 Billion Selling Virtual Coins

The online creation platform Roblox reportedly made $3.5 billion last year, mostly from the selling of its virtual currency, Robux, according to Foresight News. Robux is a virtual currency that users on Roblox can use to buy accessories virtually. But the platform’s interactive and anonymous features have recently drawn criticism, raising questions about the safety of young users. Roblox will be changing its default settings in response to these worries. Users under the age of nine will be automatically blocked from playing specific games on the site as of this autumn.
